About the Artist:

Menu cover artwork by Greta Songe, a native of South Louisiana. Greta holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Painting & Drawing from Louisiana State University. While finishing her Masters of Fine Arts in Painting from the University of Iowa, Greta worked at the Brown Bottle from 2001-2004. Inspiration for the cover landscape scene came from her numerous trips to Italy. Greta currently is an active artist and an educator in the Iowa City area.
